INT CH Scarecrow's Winooski River (NA Prize II, 95 pts; UT Prize II, 188 pts.) is a carbon copy of his sire, VC Sharp Shooters Hot Rod (Rev), and has inherited his father's hunting drive and laid- back disposition. This youngster really came into his own last fall, commanding the field with style to put fear into North Dakota pheasants! Montgomery takes on the marsh with gusto, and is developing into an all-round can-do guy, following in Rev's footsteps. With the grace of his dam, and the soulful, expressive eyes and impressive head of his sire, this dog looks good just standing still! Though rough and ready outdoors, Montgomery's sweet, calm and cooperative demeanor indoors makes him a valued addition to the family. You can contact his owners, Craig and Jana McLaughlin, at craig@scarecrowkennel.com.

VC Hatten's Kia, owned by Bruce Thompson of Greensboro, GA, is a spitting image of her father INT CH VC Sharp Shooter's Prairie Dancer, MH. Clyde handled Kia to a UT Prize I, 204 points and a Versatile Champion title. Kia's as dependable as the day is long. She's nearly flawless in the field and rock solid in the water. Yet she has a mischeivious side that makes her a fun and lovable companion.

Clyde is with VC Brandy vom Beaver Creeks owned by Steven Scheib of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Clyde handled Brandy to her Prize I in Utility and her Versatile Champion title. Brandy has the heart and prey drive of a lion. She has a terrible shoulder injury from a hunting accident, yet she pushes through the pain without a thought as long as she knows there are birds to be had. She is tough as nails!

Friend and client Kevin Rautio owns Thunderhill's Diamond Lil, a two time Prize I UT dog. Lily doesn’t live up to her “lady-like name” as she loves a good duck search in mucky water as much as anything else in life.

Abi (Caden's JB's Abi-Gal) is owned by John and Kathy Blanke. We've been thrilled to help John and Abi reach their potential, with some training assistance and handling at a test when John hit a bump in the field (literally). Abi has her UT Prize I, 195 points.

INT CH VC Shooting Starr's Lonesome Joe, MH, owned by Brian and Barb Johnson of Osceola, WI is about as honest of a dog as you will ever find. Joe is an athletic dog with one of the best team player attitudes in the business. He's a joy to hunt with and his owner isn't a half bad guy either!

Otter Creek's OB Brianna

NAVHDA
UT Prize I, 204; NA Prize I, 112 pts.

Four legs towards Master Hunter Title

Whelped 2/18/01

Height 23 inches     Weight 50 lbs.

Brie is the kind of dog people connect with almost instantly. Her warm and affectionate personality pops out at you, as does her animated spirit. When she cocks her head and gives you a look with her deep brown eyes, you get a strong sense this fun and exciting little dog has a definite mischievous side to her.
Yet when Brie is in the field, she’s all business. This quick-witted dog has achieved much at a very early age. She received maximum scores in Natural Ability and Utility on her first attempts at both and has four legs towards her Master Hunter title, all by one-and-a-half years.
Natural talent came easily to Brie. She is a natural backer and retriever and while her search is expansive, her incredibly cooperative nature makes her a dream to walk behind. She covers the field with grace and speed and makes it all seem quite effortless. She has a passion to search for ducks in the marsh as well. Brie has proved she can withstand intense training at a young age, probably because of her high level of cooperativeness, yet still hunts with absolute exuberance.
Brie spends her weekends hunting for pheasants with her owner Bill Fuchs of Iowa and her weeknights in the house with the family.
